Corrugated industry from the inside
I know the corrugated industry not from reports and presentations, but from the inside: through sales, production, procurement, planning, quality, waste, complaints, management reporting and work with clients. In this business, mistakes in raw material selection, planning, pricing or correct data transfer quickly turn into losses.
Management of production companies
I managed two production sites with full P&L responsibility. This gave me practical understanding of how sales, procurement, production, finance, warehouse, people and investment decisions are connected. Therefore, when I analyze a business, I do not look at a separate symptom, but at the system: where the problem appeared, which processes influence it and what will change if it is solved.
B2B commerce: sales and procurement
I worked with commerce from both sides: sales, key accounts, tenders, negotiations, pricing models, supplier work and procurement logic. This helps me see a business opportunity not only as an “interesting contact”, but as a chain of questions: who makes the decision, where the real margin is, which cooperation terms are possible, and which risks are hidden in price, timing, quality or obligations of the parties.
Operational efficiency and management logic
In the corrugated business, weak points are rarely on the surface. A sales problem can be connected with planning, waste, paper quality, the KPI system or the way finished goods are packed. I worked with such links in practice: analyzed processes, searched for bottlenecks, assessed the impact of decisions on neighboring departments and translated conclusions into specific actions.
Development projects and change implementation
I participated in and led projects where it was not enough to simply suggest an idea. The change had to be implemented: people, timing, budgets, operational limits and measurable results had to be aligned. This experience matters for clients who need not a beautiful report, but a clear sequence of actions: what to do first, what can wait, where the risk is, which resources are needed and how to control implementation.
International and multicultural B2B environment
I worked in international companies and multicultural teams, where the same business situation can be understood differently by an owner, investor, local management, supplier or client. This is especially important when checking partners, assessing business assets and entering new markets: documents and presentations show only part of the picture, while the real context often remains off camera.
Checking business opportunities on site
My experience helps me look at a partner, object or business asset not only through documents. I pay attention to operational reality: people, processes, condition of the object, signs of manageability, commercial logic and mismatches between words and facts. This is exactly what matters before negotiations, investment or the next serious step.
